Middlesbrough jam maestro Rosalind Waugh has bagged another haul of awards for her latest selection of tasty treats.
The Marton Manor-based culinary whizz scooped first place in the Best Marmalade category at the Great British Food Awards 2022 with her Blood Orange Negroni.
And there was a Highly Recommended accolade for her popular Gooseberry and Tonka Bean Jam.
The 2022 Deliciously Yorkshire Awards saw Rosalind turn baker to scoop the Best Ready To Eat category for her Turkish Borek, while her Gooseberry Chutney was shortlisted in the Best Savoury Condiments category.
The awards are just the latest additions to Rosalind’s already packed awards cabinet, and her products have been featured in national magazines.
Rosalind has turned a passion for locally-grown and home-produced jams, chutneys and preserves into a booming enterprise, with customers the length and breadth of the UK.
Rosalind said: “The real joy of the products I make is the pleasure they give to my customers who tell me how much they enjoy them.
“They’re the ones who inspire me to come up with new recipes, and I’ve always got something new in the pipeline.
“These awards are the icing on the cake – it’s lovely to have official recognition for something that’s so much more than just a job.”
